The cockpit is an exact replica of the original aircraft. Every flight control, switch, gauge or screen is identical in look and feel compared to the original aircraft.
The cockpit is based on an original B737-800 or A320 cockpit. Pilots in training will experience a seamless transition switching between fixed base and full motion flight simulators or switching from flight simulator to the flight deck of a real Boeing 737-800 or Airbus A320.
Both the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 flight simulators have an integrated Instructor operator station. The Instructor operator station (IOS) is touch screen operated and extremely easy to use. All flight training situations are setup simply by touching the appropriate icons on the screen.
Any pilot training instructor will instantly recognize the controls and be able to put the flight simulator in any training situation with little or no instruction. In addition to this, the full instructor operator station can be controlled from an Ipad or android tablet.
Both our Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 flight simulators are fixed base flight simulators. There is no hydraulic platform. The result is a significant cost saving, both in purchase cost and operating cost of the hydraulic platform. The lower volume results in significantly reduced housing cost.
The flight simulators have been developed from the ground up using both custom and original parts while making no compromise in both fidelity and durability. The simulation software and operating software of our Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 flight simulators have been developed from the ground up and in-house by MPS.
The combination of the fixed base design and in-house software development ensures a dramatically lower purchase price and operational cost when compared to other fixed base flight simulators or ftd’s.
The Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 flight simulators were developed to fill the gap between flight procedure trainers and full motion flight simulators.
The simulators were developed with the requirements of Airline aviation training, Aviation/Flight schools and type rating organizations in mind. Total simulator expense (initial expense and operational cost), and maximum functionality in different pilot training systems, were the most important considerations in the development of the flight simulators.
The result is that Airlines or large flight schools can lower total simulator expense by adding MPS Airbus A320 or Boeing 737-800 flight simulators to en existing fleet of full motion flight simulators. On the other hand, the lower price of the MPS flight simulators puts purchase of a flight simulator within reach of smaller aviation or flight schools.
MPS Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 flight simulator feature modular construction of the cockpit/flight deck. This means that replacement of any module can be done by any technician. Replacement of a module simply requires shipment of the module to the client, the module does not need to be replaced by the manufacturer or specialized engineers.
The servers that power the flight simulator are in direct contact with MPS engineering offices. Any needed software support or maintenance issues can be resolved directly over the internet.
